The Weston Youth Dance Company

The Weston Youth Dance Company (WYDC) is based in Worle, and has members from its parent dance school's branches as well as from outside the school.
The Weston Youth Dance Company was formed in September 1999 with members from Nailsea, Portishead, Burnham And Clevedon - Rehearsals have taken place regularly since formation and continue on a regular basis.
The Group provides Dance Displays at Fetes, Galas and Charity Fund Raising events and also for Promotional work.
The Groups has performed in the Weston Carnival since its formation and has won several awards for their performance. They have also performed at the Clevedon Lions Festival and The UK dance Championships at the Winter Gardens and on THREE Major London Stages on a regular basis.
The Group also enter competitions nationwide and have come home with many awards and trophies.
